We’ve had this aloe plant for years. We even named it.

Gigantic ones, from the Carrboro farmers market.

Its getting towards the end of the season, so I was surprised to see this new growth at the center. I intentionally broke the “don’t shoot down on the flowers” rule to accentuate the converging lines of the veins. That was the idea, at least.

I finally had some of the juice this past weekend – it was very tasty!

I was stuck inside taking a picture today (like most days, admittedly), and this plant had been calling for some attention.
