Dori and I went for dessert tonight, and this was an unusual presentation for this classic dessert.

I was going to try to use 2 lights for this, only to discover that I left one of my flashes on and the batteries were totally drained. Apparently I only needed one.

I love my macro lens.

Mixed feelings. I mostly got what I was going for, but its missing some oomfph. Next time.

This was exactly what I was trying for, minus the dust. Oh well…

It was a rainy day at the NCBG, and I was really pleased with what I came home with!

These fries were fabulous, a perfect match to the mussels from Kitchen, a new place in Chapel Hill.
