Portraits are still a challenge for me… not so much on the technical side, but I’m still developing the skill of getting people to relax in front of the camera. That said, I’m quite pleased with the way this turned out. Strobist info: Canon 580EXii medium-high camera left, 1/4 power, firing into a Westcott 60″ umbrella.

Whole wheat crackers with goat cheese, fresh sliced figs, and pomegranate seeds. Kudos to Dori for such a beautiful appetizer!

With Thanksgiving coming, it felt right to grab something fun a little ahead of time.
