Its getting towards the end of the season, so I was surprised to see this new growth at the center. I intentionally broke the “don’t shoot down on the flowers” rule to accentuate the converging lines of the veins. That was the idea, at least.

I finally had some of the juice this past weekend – it was very tasty!

I was stuck inside taking a picture today (like most days, admittedly), and this plant had been calling for some attention.

Pat came to visit Dori and me for the weekend, and we kicked things off with a sake tasting at Southern Season. This was my favorite – no surprise since it was the only unfiltered one of the lot.
