For reference, the body of this insect was about 1 inch long. I have no idea what kind it is!

I’m still experimenting with the light tent I recently bought. I’m not thrilled with this shot, but its my first attempt with a relatively large object in the tent.

I was a little late on this one. There are some flaws I can see, but I am still overall happy with the shot. This feather came from a bird OJ caught; fortunately we separated the two before anyone got hurt.

Ok I recognize this is a boring shot. I purchased a photo tent for some product work I’ve got coming up, and this is my first super-quick attempt with it. I also grabbed a colorchecker passport, so really today’s experiment is more about workflow and gear familiarity than composition.

I knew OJ would make it up here eventually. Usually he’s afraid of the camera, but Dori kept him busy with a new toy. No post on this one.

I have mixed feelings on this one. Wish I had a little more depth of field.
