These flowers have been blooming in my neighbor’s garden for the past few days. I finally found one that was fresh and healthy, and the wind cooperated, mostly, during my 20 minute shoot.

We hosted a small sedar tonight – it was quite a success! Hope you like our fancy hagaddahs. ;)

We saw some Yellow-Throated Sparrows today too, but the shots of them were all obstructed.

This is the inaugural post with my new camera body. I am very pleased with it!

This, it turns out, is incredibly difficult to do by yourself. Imagine me standing over a cordial glass full of milk with a measuring cup in one hand trying to dribble out tiny bits of milk while simultaneously operating the shutter with the other. I’m only somewhat happy with this shot… I’ll try it again another day.
