This exciting Friday night consisted of a burger from ‘Buns’ in Chapel Hill and a trip to Target. I saw this lovely bunch of tulips there and knew I’d get something!

I was pretty short on ideas tonight, and I didn’t like the other stuff I tried. This is slightly sooner than I’d like for another OJ shot (only ~3 weeks since the last), but oh well, he’s cute.

This was my backup tonight. The first plan (a lovely flowering tree down the block) didn’t work out so well!

It rained pretty much all day today, so I pulled this guy out of the drawer (rather late, I might add), to scrape by for today.

What started off as a disappointing walk around Mason Farm today ended up with a flurry of fun pictures right at the end. I kept seven shots from the walk (normally I keep just the one I post), and I liked these enough to post all three. We also saw a pileated woodpecker and a northern flicker.

A peacock’s tail draped the side of this cake at Sugarland, in Chapel Hill.

The sun was striking these tulips beautifully today, and I couldn’t help but try to capture their glow.

These were on a tree around the block. Spring is coming…
