Dori and I went out to the western part of Jordan Lake today, and explored some new trails. We saw the heron almost immediately after we got out of the car, then nothing else until the very end of the hike.
I’m back home in NC now. The trip to DC was really great, but its wonderful to be home. This shot was taken yesterday, 11/3.
We had some long deserved fun after we left the office on election night. Taken 11/2.
